Many merchants use a set delivery schedule and fulfilment is a lot more manageable when all deliveries go out on the same day for each billing period. With autoMate you can use the API to control the delivery date of the next queued order to suit specific business requirements or logic.

How does it work?
After a shipping window has been set up in autoMate, any customers orders processed within that window will have their next queued order date adjusted to match the defined date within the window.
For example, you might want any orders placed between the 1st October - 1st December to have a next charge date of 5th January. This will then be applied to all orders placed in that window and correct all subscribers onto a specific delivery or charge schedule.
How to get started
Once you have installed autoMate and connected your ReCharge account, you will be able to create your first Shipping Window Schedule.
The first step is to click Add Window, which will allow you to define the start date and end date of the window.
You will be presented with three calendars. The first two calendars are where you select the date range, with the left side being the start date and the right side being the end date. In the example below we have selected all orders placed between 1st December - 31st January:
The next step is to define the date of the next queued order for all customers placing orders or having their subscription renewing within this window.
To do this you can simply select one date on the calendar below and once you're happy with this, click Save Window:
That's it! You can now continue adding further windows as time goes on, this will continuously update the next queued order date.
